"The Hawksbill Turtle is unfortunately a critically endangered species, endangered for many reasons including loss of habitat, global warming, pollutants and illegal poaching. The hawksbill has a beautiful patterned outer shell and sadly this is one of the reasons they are in a decline due to poaching of the “tortoiseshell” in illegal markets.
They live mainly in tropical oceans and feed on sponges in coral reefs, anomies and jelly fish. They play a crucial part for the environment and these beautiful creatures need to be protected.
I have created this ‘Sea Life’ Range to create an awareness for our oceans and the endangered species that inhabit them.
I have a passion for the environment and nature, I am conscious on impact when creating from start to finish and where ever possible have made concious decisions to combat that. You can buy with the confidence that the environment has been taken into consideration every step of the way."
