Representing the breaking of control, the flying bird emphasises freedom, companionship and movement. The migration of birds as an act of survival, parallels the same necessity for many humans worldwide. 

Created for the Studio of Sanctuary programme, all proceeds of this limited edition brooch will be donated in to the programme in support of other asylum seeker ad refugee creatives.
