This little energy star embodies something ancient and deeper that speaks to something within all of us. Through animism colour collision and graphic collaging the star represents the mixing and overlaying of culture clashes positivity human connectivity and imperfection. Raised in Doncaster, U.K., by a trio of strong women with an appreciation for creativity, Welland’s mum, grandmother and auntie informed his initial interest in art. Welland kicked off his career with a degree in Fine Arts from Sheffield Hallam in 2007, before joining the luxury division of M&C Saatchi, and working across various boutique design studios in his native UK.
